When you are installing SAS Enterprise Miner and are prompted to provide the account credentials for the single-user identity, the following warning message might appear:
Warning The Password is invalid. OK
In the SASMeta_MetadataServer_date_time.log file, you might see the following entry:
INFO [00000759] :SYSTEM@AC31-345-24E6C - Error authenticating user mymachine\Sandy in function LogonUser. Error 1385 (Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.
Note: To view the SAS® Metadata Server log, navigate to your-configuration-directory\your-level-directory\SASMeta\MetadataServer\Log (for example, c:\SAS\EMDesktop\Lev1\SASMeta\MetadataServer\Logs).
This warning can occur when the password for your user ID is incorrect or the account does not have the appropriate user rights assignment.
To determine whether your user ID password is correct, follow these steps:
If Notepad opens, then the password is correct for the user ID. If Notepad does not open, then the password is incorrect. Check that your password has not recently expired.
To determine whether your account has the proper user rights assignments, follow these steps:
In the right pane of the User Rights Assignment window, check that your user ID is included in the following areas:
